on a sunny day in venice, CA, a special gathering took place at a magical, little place called big red sun. from the moment we walked through the garden gates, we knew we were in for an epically special event.
the occasion was a baby shower for mom-to-be and former pussycat doll, carmit bachar, and multi-awesome fiancé, kevin whitaker. the vibe was both laid back and high energy, open-armed and 200% groovy, spiritual and organically glam. in other words, it was pretty fantastic.
when it comes to this couple, they are all about the love -- truly, madly, deeply. you could close your eyes and actually see it. (believe us, we tried!) it was clear how much it meant to carmit and kevin to be surrounded, embraced, and blessed by their friends and family on their journey towards parenthood. the joy radiating back to them from everyone could be bottled up and labeled "pure happiness" and it would still be an understatement.
ahh, carmit and kevin...you inspire us all.
we can't wait to meet your +1.

Wonderful! My niece had a similar party just before her 3rd daughter was born in Sept. Here is her henna tat: http://twitpic.com/7cm4yt

What a beautiful baby shower! I love the idea of having guests decorate onesies for the baby.
